this place deserves a 5 star review just from their tea leaf salad (yes it's THAT GOOD). don't even question it -- just get it and you will not regret it.

there tends to be a line to sit in the restaurant, which is very quaint, so i'd recommend getting take-out to save some time. it is in a more dodge-y area but it shouldn't discourage you away from trying this place out.

tea leaf salad 5/5: this has all of the right textures and flavors into one dish. i've never been drawn to a place just for their salad but this dish changed my mind. for it being less than $10 you cannot beat this.

After a few attempted times when the restaurant was not open as the hours are incorrect on Yelp, I finally made it here.

The restaurant is tiny, and looks like it is run by a mother and daughter who cook right in front of you.

The food was excellent, and I loved the atmosphere of a small kitchen of home made Burmese food.

Would def recommend, such a great deal for SF!  I did takeout with the tea leaf salad and house noodles w/ beef -- both so good and ~$15 total.  Cash only.  Service was relatively a bit slow since it's just the two women preparing everything, but it's a fun area to walk around while you wait.  Indoor seating is tight at ~10 spots but would go again to watch the food getting prepared.  No wait for a Tuesday evening.

Really tasty noodles and tea leaf salad for an incredibly affordable price. I chose to take out which seemed like a slightly quicker option although it was already very busy at 5:30 pm.
I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

A mother-daughter duo running this little establishment of 8 counter seats handling all dine-in and take-out orders, pretty impressive!
Have always seen a line outside in the past, but I happened to pass by just when they were about to open this time and was really lucky to get in the first round
Sitting at the counter and seeing the food being made right before you was a nice experience, but if you don't want to wait then getting it to-go or calling ahead (for to-go orders) will drastically cut down your wait time
I got the Yamo House Noodles with beef and the Samusas. Loved both of it - the flavor, the texture, everything. By the way, it's a cash-only place, so make sure you have cash on you when you come

YOMA is my favorite place to eat in San Francisco. I'm happy that more people are discovering them. Everything on the menu is worth trying and priced so you can. Parking can be a little tricky but that's SF. Headed there for lunch right now

Came around 6pm and there was small line. The shop is in mission so parking is major ass + a bit sketch in some areas. I'd recommend walking or public transportation. Shop is super small with maybe 6 spots counter seating for dine in. Service is quite slow as it is family run and only 1-2 people cook so we waited about 5min to order and 30min for food to go.

8/10 Yamo House Noodles $8 - definitely a banging steal meal for SF! Hidden gem so give it a try before prices keep increasing though. The noodles come al dente, hot, garlicky, and I'd add some salt or chicken seasoning from home personally for more flavor as it lacked some. Beef and pork were both bomb meat options. They are fried well with a slight crisp but still juicy. Portion of meat is very little but noodles were solid amount. Also no veggies so I'd recommend having stuff at home ready to pair with!
